Welcome! Green Acres Farm is a family-owned farm located in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
We pride ourselves on raising high quality Border Leicester breeding stock in white and natural colors. Border Leicesters are known for producing long luxurious fleece that is easy to spin and results in a yarn which is soft yet durable. Being a dual purpose breed, they also provide lean, mild-flavored cuts of meat. In addition, the breed is calm and easy to keep. If you're thinking of starting a flock or adding to an existing flock, contact us.
Lambs are born in early May to take advantage of the mild weather and "green up".
