Border Leicesters are known for their long, lustrous fleece which is about 30-38 microns in diameter.  Handspinners appreciate the  texture and long locks this breed is known for.  We have raw fleeces available in a range of colors from silver to a dark charcoal gray in addition to white.   

We keep the sheep covered to minimize vegetable matter in the fleece.
